Gaby's Crazy Portfolio
CDO of MyCaseMty
My job includes designing and making illustrations or Photoshop edits for the back of the cases and also doing all the mockups for the enterprise's Instagram, @mycasemty
Lexa Technologies
Graphic design for screenshots our family Startup app Lexa Texhnologies. The app connects devices for the protection of people, especially women, in the streets. Used as an alarm for police stations nearby, newsfeed, and IA to tell the most dangerous places in a city.
After effects animations
Instastories for personal branding in my account @gabyscrazyprojects.
Fablab: Create, learn and connect
FabLab is a project from MIT in order to have a maker global community and involve kids in STEM projects. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we acted fast and, instead of face-to-face workshops, we did short tutorials on how to prototype different ideas. Videos edited using Wondershare Filmora.
Book Press Kit
I redesigned the cover of a book I like and from it, did a concept teaser poster, an event poster, redesigned the publishing house's logo, did 2 mockups, and 1 10 second instastory video. Made with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Cemex Hackathon: Graphic Design & UI
Project for Cemex for their Residual Management area. I designed an interface much like Autodesk Autocad, but that uses Generative Design for projects, gives you an approximate of the cost and Ambiental impact (with possibilities to change materials depending on your location), and even the possibility to 3D print the structure, if the building is small enough. Made in Adobe Illustrator.
Electrodeposition 3D printer
Design concepts, iterations, and physical prototype of a copper electrodeposition 3D printer. Modeled and assembled in Solidworks. Currently doing research about this topic with MIT doctor Ricardo Roberts.
Project Of The Year: Audi R8 Spyder WITH A TWIST
Nominated for Project Of The Year 2020. It is an Audi R8 design but with some innovative and sustainable touches. First, by changing the wheels to spherical, opening to a whole new world in mechanics, and second, by putting solar panels on the roof, so the car can be a hybrid between solar and electric. Made in Solidworks and rendered in Solidworks Visualize.
Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI quattro
This was my #FailInLoveChallenge. 3D model of one of the most intricated designs in cars in right, front, and isometric views. Modeled in Solidworks and rendered in Solidworks Visualize.
STLs and DXFs for infrared thermometers
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I designed and modeled these cases for infrared thermometers in the simplest shape possible for them to manufacture quickly and get to health centers. Cases modeled and rendered in Solidworks.
Sai2d: Trophy design
I designed and helped building trophies for events like the Siemens Challenge, the graduation candidates of my major, and the Global Challenges Congress. Design made in Adobe Illustrator.
SAi2d: Graphic design & Social Media
For 1 year I was a Community Manager and Graphic Designer for SAi2d, the Alumni Society of my major. During that year, we doubled our Instagram followers and won the best party poster in engineerings. Made in Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
Sustainable Home
Physical prototype of a mini house with a real, small-scale, and functional solar panel, fan, lamp, wind turbine, skylight, and a recycled water pipeline for it to consume only renewable energy.
Sustainable Carwash
SketchUp design and physical prototype of a carwash that recycles the used water using Arduino. Idea by our FIRST robotics team: BlueSteel. First place winners of the contest!
